  • May 2004 - Successful laser trials on new Gen II tables

    Precix has entered into a development agreement with Aranda Systems to continue to improve on our laser models. Laser integrated with the new Gen II tables performed successully in tests and in beta client facilities. Precix will migrate the entire laser line onto the new platform after the new platform is commercially release in August 2004.
  • June 2002 - Development is well under way on the 1, 1.5 and 2.5 kw laser systems

    Precix is currently in development of its new high power CO2 Laser series. The lasers being used are sealed lasers, which are great as there is no mess from Oil Pumps, and no large canisters of gas constantly used by the laser. The system will run with the same gas, depending on the amount of usage, for up to 1 year. After one year, you only need to replace the container in the laser which is a 5 minute job. These lasers are great for high production plastic shops, as well as steel cutting.
